I have had extensive experience teaching children, working at their level and in their time to motivate them to play.

Adults aren't left out! I have all the time in the world for a nervous adult that thinks they are wasting my time. Learning as an adult is different to learning as a child and I understand that. No matter what your skills, we will have fun and that is how you end up learning an instrument, have fun!
